Our story

Bridge City Bakery LHC launched in Spring of 2024, but the vision started long before….
as a mom of four young ones I decided to take a leap of faith into my training and passion.

My love for bread began as a child when my mom and I would get a hot french loaf from the grocery store and split it on our way home. I still remember the smell of the yeast and sound of the bread crackling when we’d rip off a piece.

Growing up in a foodie household I was destined for being in the food business, as I graduated high school I had plans to attend culinary school, but not a year later I was pregnant with my first child, and life shifted from school expenses to baking the bun in my oven. I got a job in a local high end bakery and trained in pastry and fine desserts.

Making fine desserts began nearly 13 years ago, but my real passion will always lie in dough, bread and pastry. Being a young mom with a wholesome eye…and appetite. I had to get creative with what I had, there were many bread trials, many trainings and countless fails, before I perfected my own recipes and now, after putting in my time, effort, love, I am ready to offer my goods to my community.

Balancing technique and traditions, Bridge City Bakery crafts bold, unforgettable flavors that defy the ordinary.
